How does your organization manage risks and opportunities given the range of challenges that business faces? What are the risks that you are not aware of, and where could you be exposed? How do you prepare for incidents across a globally interlinked business? How do you prioritize and focus efforts with limited risk management resources?
Enterprise Risk Management – A Focus on a Strategic and Resilient Approach
Please join us on Thursday, January 15, 2015 as Belinda Berwick from Marsh Risk Consulting provides further insight into the practice of risk management. With a particular focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Belinda will provide an overview of the differing techniques and approaches. Areas of discussion will include 1.) Strategic Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, evaluating, monitoring, reviewing and managing strategic exposures (e.g. opportunity alignment, black swans, prioritizing risk efforts, etc) and 2.) Resiliency Risk Management: Identifying and assessing disruption exposures, and building resiliency programs that minimize impact to operations (e.g. Business Continuity Planning). Overall, attendees will gain a better understanding of the emerging trends in ERM; including the application of such techniques and approaches. We invite you to this topical, yet informative discussion where we will further consider how organizations can minimize exposure and maximize opportunities and, consequently, balance the risk with the reward.
