Based in Charlotte, N.C., he provides analysis and commentary on U.S. business spending as well as macroeconomic developments in foreign economies. Prior to joining the economics group in 2007, Tim held positions within Wachovia as a financial advisor and within Evergreen Investments as a trust account portfolio manager and investment strategist. Prior to joining Wachovia in 2002, he spent several years working for Putnam Investments in Boston, Mass.
