Greg will be speaking on the "Political Lay of the Land after the 11/6 Election" and will focus on the Battleground States, the US Senate, and the US House of Representatives.
Greg Erath is AIG’s State Relations Officer for the southeastern United States, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. He has worked as a lobbyist, political and legislative consultant for over 20 years and for AIG since 2001. He was previously employed in the same capacity by American General Corporation, an insurance group specializing in life insurance, annuities and other financial products, and private and public sector retirement systems. Greg interacts with legislators, regulatory officials and their respective staffs, advocating various issues of interest to AIG and its subsidiaries. Other responsibilities include involvement, when appropriate, in public relations and grassroots projects related to legislative and regulatory advocacy. He grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Louisiana State University, New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Greg is also active in church, charitable and civic organizations, including the St. Paul Lutheran Church (Peachtree City, GA) board of directors and the Rotary Club of Newnan (GA) where he is a Paul Harris Fellow.
